INGREDIENTS:
16 oz | San Giorgio® Ziti |
1 lb | ground beef |
3/4 cup | onion, chopped |
2 | garlic cloves, minced |
1 jar | (24 oz) pasta sauce |
1/2 cup | dry red wine |
1 tsp | fresh basil leaves |
1 tsp | oregano leaves, crushed |
8 oz | reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese |
salt and ground black pepper, to taste |
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat oven to 350º F. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is thoroughly cooked; drain.
- In large bowl, stir together meat mixture, hot cooked pasta, pasta sauce, wine and seasonings.
- In 13 x 9-inch baking dish, spoon pasta mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until hot an bubbly.
