Asparagus and Chicken Pasta Toss

A satisfying mix of tender chicken, crisp asparagus, and al dente pasta tossed in a hearty meat sauce, a delicious and healthy meal, all in one.

INGREDIENTS:
16 oz | San Giorgio® Ziti |
8 oz | asparagus, trimmed and chopped into pieces |
1/2 lb | chicken, cut into pieces |
1/4 cup | olive oil |
1 pint | cherry tomatoes, halved |
2 each | garlic cloves, minced |
3 oz | crumbled goat cheese |
2 Tbsps | fresh chives, snipped |
DIRECTIONS:
- Cook pasta according to package directions, adding asparagus cuts during last 2 minutes of cooking; drain.
- Meanwhile, in skillet, brown chicken in oil; cook 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes and garlic; cook 2 minutes more.
- Toss with hot pasta and asparagus; add cheese and chives.
