Meatless Baked Ziti

Try the rich, comforting flavors of our Meatless Baked Ziti. Hearty pasta, savory sauce, and melted cheese — a vegetarian's dream come true.

INGREDIENTS:

16 ozSan Giorgio® Ziti Rigati
1 jar(24 oz) pasta sauce
15 ozricotta cheese
8 ozshredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cupparsley, chopped
1egg, lightly beaten
1 tspfresh oregano leaves
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/2 tspsalt
1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper
3 Tbspsfreshly grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat oven to 375º F.  Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. In large bowl, stir together hot cooked pasta, 1-1/2 cups pasta sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spoon pasta mixture; top with remaining 1-1/2 cups pasta sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; cover with foil.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
